b. Consult the photos, descriptions and reviews to choose the ideal accommodation.

To guarantee the security of all users of the platform, identity verification is mandatory for the confirmation of your reservation. This verification may include providing identity documents such as an identity card, passport or driving license. In addition, this helps reduce the risk of fraud or misuse of the platform.
With this system we want to guarantee a secure and reliable booking experience for all users of the platform. If identity verification is not successfully completed, the reservation will not be confirmed and the reservation will be canceled.
To confirm your reservation, you must pay a 25% deposit upon reservation, the balance must be paid no later than 1 month before the arrival date (we will send you a reminder email with a secure payment link). If your arrival is in less than a month, you will be asked to pay the entire reservation.
To guarantee the security of your transactions, BookStMartin never has access to your payment data. All payments are processed with the utmost confidentiality by our trusted partners, STRIPE and PAYPAL, recognized for their reliability.
Depending on the accommodation, a deposit may be required upon arrival.
The deposit is used to cover any damages or additional costs that may occur during your stay and the amount varies depending on the accommodation and the owners.
This is a very common procedure to cover possible contingencies. Its amount is withheld either by uncashed check (for French travellers) or in cash (for international travellers). After checking the good condition of the accommodation on your departure, the deposit is fully returned.
We rely on the trust and respect of places on the part of travelers who rent through our platform. So by taking care of the accommodation, you don’t have to worry about the reimbursement of your guarantee. It will be refunded to you on your departure.
In most cases, the owners or their representatives will welcome you into the accommodation. It is important to check with them for instructions for your arrival. By creating your user account, you will be able to communicate directly with them to best prepare your arrival and your stay.
