Pelican Condo – Oceanfront Oasis

La casa de Francois es hermosa, sumamente equipada y decorada con muy buen gusto! Esta a la vuelta de la playa de Orient beach y tambien de los restaurantes de la zona. La piscina es hermosa, los dormitorios comodos, sabanas y toallas impecables. Recomiendo muchisimo alojarse en esta casita cerca de la playa!! Gracias Francois y Laurette por su amable atención!

Sarah’s place was the perfect spot for our girls trip! Walkable to grocery, restaurants, bars, and beach and exactly as described. Sarah is super responsive and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay :)

We have been to the Bistro twice in the past 2 years and we always had a good experience, but not this time. We had a reservation for 2 couples and we told our friends that the lobster there was very good. We looked in the tank in front and saw only 5 or 6 large lobsters. We told the thin waiter with dark hair that we wanted 1-1/2 to 2 lb lobster each, for 3 of us. He said he didn't have any that size, only 3-5 lb ones. My friend asked if they had any more sizes at the restaurant and he said no, that's all they had. My wife and I shared a 3+ lb one, thermidor, split in two and my friend ended up with 3 lb grilled. His came out 1/2 grilled and 1/2 thermidor, and he told the woman that placed it, he wanted grilled only. She said that's how it comes, try it you'll like it. He doesn't like thermidor, but eat part of it anyway. Our bill was approximately $600 USD and it wasn't worth it. We found out later, after speaking to a life long resident, that they use the lobster tank to suck in the tourists and they have a larger tank in the back for the French residents. He said lobsters over 2 lb are taxed more, costing tourist more money, especially those from the US.
So tourist's beware, there are other restaurants that will not gouge you for higher prices. So disappointed this time, as the last 2 times were much better.

Located in the heart of Grand Case, Bistro Caraibes is a long time favorite of so many people. We have been going there since they opened, and it is our favorite restaurant among the many excellent places to dine. We’ve gone there as a couple and with various sized groups of friends, up to twelve people.
Always excellent service and the food is outstanding. Quite a variety and something for everyone.
Of course, my favorite is the lobster Thermidor. So so good!
We usually start with a shared escargot appetizer in creamy mushroom sauce, and end with the crème brûlée. Classic vanilla always. I always judge others crème brûlée against Bistrot Caraibes since it’s the gold standard.
Actually, we always finish with their ginger rhum. A perfect end to a perfect night.

I loved rainbow beach club, all 3 pools were great, had parking, friendly neighbors, and walking distance to market and restaurants, and of course the stairs leading for be beach. mullet beach is walkable too. Mike & Rosalyn were the best host! They gave clear instructions and kept communication open if I had any questions. The place was clean and had what you needed. Will most definitely return to beautiful Sint Maarten and book with Mike & Rosalyn again.

Beautifully appointed apartment in Orient Bay with everything you need. Great for our holiday with our grown children and granddaughter. Host is very pleasant and responsive. Outdoor space was a big plus to enjoy the warm weather. Access to the pool was a bonus Short walk to water and into town for restaurants and grocery stores.

We went on a girls trip to ST Martin on Orient beach. This property could not have been more perfect for us. Everything you could possibly want was a short walk away. Fabulous restaurants, market, bakery and a beautiful beach right across the street. Sarah was an excellent host and very responsive to any questions we had. We really couldn’t have been more fortunate to find this jewel. Short taxi ride to Grand Case and Marigot was a plus. Pool was delightful as well as the Wai beach club across the street.
