Rêves de Tropiques 2 – Oceanfront Studio

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Logement conforme aux photos et à la description. Sophie a acheté des chaises de plage et fournit un parasol. Nous avions le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Nous recommandons fortement. L’épicerie et plusieurs restaurants sont à moins de 5 km. Selon nous, le Mont Vernon est le meilleur endroit de l’île pour loger. L’appartement de Sophie est propre et bien situé avec vue sur l’océan, la plage, la piscine et les montagnes. Il est à l’abri du vent, donc on peut manger à l’extérieur sans problème. Nous avons eu un problème de communication avec la personne qui devait nous accueillir. Nous avons dû aller à sa recherche. Nous avons quitté de façon autonome.
Il y a beaucoup de vent à Orient Bay et de grosses vagues. La plage de sable blanc fait 2km, donc idéal pour marcher. La piscine du complexe est directement sur la plage. Le coût des aliments à l’épicerie est le même qu’au Québec mais en Euro. Très bonne nourriture au restaurant mais dispendieux.

I had a good stay at Sophie’s place. It was clean and it perfectly matched the advertised pictures. However, the bed was super firm and uncomfortable for me. Other than that, Sophie was very responsive and nice.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour, le logement est confortable et conforme à la description . Nous avons découvert un logement propre et bien équipé. Le wifi fonctionne bien . De la terrasse la vue sur la plage d’orient baie et de Saint Barth est sublime. Nous avons été accueilli par la gentille et souriante Linda .

Séjour très agréable au sein de logement de Sophie, nous avons un très bel accueil et tout s’est très bien passé.
Le logement est très fonctionnel et proche de toutes les commodités.

One of the best places I've stayed in on Airbnb, Sophie, Hode and his partner were very much helpful and attentive during our entire stay and answered any questions we've had, she always checked in with us and we appreciate that. The views were beautiful and had one of the best beaches on the island if you don't mind the waves, we saw sailors, surfers and lots of iguanas, the butterflies on the island are quite magical to see if you're not from Saint Martin. Traveling from NY and my first time here this was really cool! There's an awesome view of a rock formation, across Orient Bay Beach near the restaurants and bar. I highly recommend staying here.

What a relaxing way to escape from the rest of the world!!!
Being a regular traveller to St.Maarten, this has been one of the most peaceful and relaxing months spent here in Mont Vernon. A perfect place for a mix of working and relaxation!
Working from the balcony or internal desk with the ocean waves lashing in the background was very therapeutic. There were no power-cuts during my stay (common on the Dutch side) and the Wi-Fi speed was great (avg 30Mbps) for video calls and streaming to the laptop or tv.
The apartment is tastefully and comfortably decorated. The bed is very spacious and comfortable. The area is also very peaceful and calm, unlike the hectic Simpson Bay strip where there is no escape from the noise and traffic.
I would recommend having a car for this location as it is useful to get around. Grand Case is a 5-minute drive away with its fantastic restaurants and bars on the beach as is the large Super-U supermarket with its many good quality grocery options.
Plenty of watersports are available either on Orient beach or at nearby marinas and beaches. Everything from sailing, kite surfing, jet skiing, parasailing and all varieties.
Finally, the host was super responsive, helpful and accommodating! My best AirBnB experience by far!
Looking forward to my next getaway already!
