			Overall my friends and I loved this airbnb. The view and the pool were our favorite part! We used the pool pretty much every day of our stay. We loved the decor and the 2 rooms were enough for the four of us. The outdoor room was nice to have in case someone needed more privacy. The kitchen was fully equipped which came in handy as we had a private chef one of the nights we stayed. There were a few little hiccups finding the place but once we did, it was well worth it. 

A few things to note: 

The surroundings of the property are very earthy and full of plants and trees so you may see some bugs make it in the house here or there. 

The villa is on the french side of the island which is the more quiet/relaxing side. It’s about a 30-40 min drive to the Dutch side where all of the parties and very popular restaurants are. 

Lastly, Valerie and Sarah were gracious enough to provide a few converters but if you’re traveling from the US, you’ll need a european adapter to charge your devices!		 - 6/05/2024

						Beautiful villa/house. Loved the layout. Host and daughter were very helpful and responsive to any need and to make sure you felt at home. I couldn’t be happy with the choice we made. 			We hebben met ons gezin van 6 personen 2 weken doorgebracht in de villa van Valerie en hebben een fantastische tijd gehad. Het huis en de plek is geweldig. Je voelt je echt welkom (welkomstdrankjes, snorkelgear, sunbeds, verrekijker, music-box, lekkere bedden etc). Heerlijk uitzicht en windje, lekker zwembad. Om de hoek Oriënt bay met leuke strand tenten, pinel eiland & grand-case. Heerlijk gegeten bij Hercule, pizza gehaald bij the Garden, vers stokbrood bij de french bakery (op zaterdag hebben zij gegrild kippetje), verse vis bij la cabane du pêcheur. 			Valerie is a great host and the home was nice. The home wasn’t hard to find but unexpected given that it is located far back off of the road, behind lots of trees and shrubs. 			Valerie was a great host with quick responsiveness and always willing to help. 

We are highly selective when traveling and usually do not book on AirBnB however Valeries’ home ticked off all our boxes. 

Space was extremely clean and free of common bugs you would find in tropical places with is a major deal maker for me. Obviously mosquitos are present but she provides a wonderfully stocked pantry of all remedies you’d need to counter them. She also provides a ton of gear for beach or pool. 

Beautiful surroundings and quick access to some of the most beautiful beaches, beach clubs, and restaurants. 

A few points of interest that were of no wrongdoing on Valerie’s Part:

LOTs of biting mosquitos. 

Water services in French St Martin is spotty and will turn off during the day. Plan accordingly but nothing some bottled water doesn’t fix.

			We stayed at Valerie’s place for 5 days. She is very friendly and responded to all my questions right away. Also , even though check in is at 4 pm upon request we were able to check in at 2:30!

Villa is beautiful and in my opinion even bigger when it’s on the pictures. For example the bedroom I was staying, it has extra bed in it, is bigger then it is on the pictures. From the room you can go to the beautiful garden or even take outside shower.The main deck with the pool is  gorgeous .The view especially in the evening when the moon is out  was amazing!

Kitchen has everything you need and more! The access to the villa is very easy to find and it has a gate to the community , which makes you feel even safer. There is a parking on premises as well.

When we were checking out we were not rashes to leave which was very nice as well.
