The hard part when looking for an all-inclusive resort in St Maarten isn’t finding options — it’s knowing which one actually fits the kind of trip you want.
Because the three are genuinely very different from each other, and choosing the wrong one for your travel style would be a shame.

Best for couples: Sonesta Ocean Point (adults only)
⭐ 8.8/10 - 1,000+ verified reviews on Expedia
Rates typically start around $460–$550/night all-inclusive for two (high season).
Summer rates drop to $300–$400/night.
I’ve sent a lot of couples here over the years, and the funny thing is: almost nobody comes back talking about the “facilities.” They talk about how they felt there.
Because some resorts in St Maarten are beautiful but exhausting. Too loud. Too busy. Too much “energy” from morning to night. You spend half the trip surrounded by pool games, screaming kids, DJs at 2pm and people fighting for loungers before breakfast.
Ocean Point is the opposite of that. You arrive and your nervous system finally unclenches a little.
That’s the real luxury here.
No children running around the pool. No animation team yelling into microphones. No pressure to “maximize” your vacation every second of the day. Just adults quietly enjoying the Caribbean exactly the way most people secretly want to.
The location helps a lot more than people realize. You’re right on the ocean in Maho, so the sunsets here are ridiculous. The kind that make people suddenly stop talking mid-sentence to look at the sky for a second. Add a drink, warm wind, planes landing in the distance, and that very particular St Maarten atmosphere… and couples fall hard for this place.
Is it the most ultra-luxury hotel on the island? No.
But that’s also why it converts so well for couples looking at real vacations with real budgets. Because Ocean Point delivers the part that actually matters most: the feeling of finally switching off.
If your dates are still available, I’d book sooner rather than later once high season starts, the best rooms usually disappear fast.

Best for beach & families: Divi Little Bay Beach Resort
⭐ 8.2/10 - 1,000+ verified reviews on Expedia
All-inclusive rates start from around $216/night (low season) and reach $600+/night in high season.
Kids under 14 stay and eat free — one of the best family value deals on the island.
If your idea of a good Caribbean vacation involves spending most of the day in the water, Divi Little Bay starts making a lot of sense very quickly.
The beach here is genuinely one of the resort’s biggest strengths and honestly, one of my favorite easy-swimming beaches on the Dutch side.
The bay stays calm most days, the water is clear, and you can snorkel directly from the beach. You throw on a mask, swim a little farther out, and suddenly there are fish everywhere around the rocks along the peninsula.
Another thing Divi gets right is the overall vibe of the property. The restaurants feel relaxed and social without becoming loud or chaotic, especially around sunset when everyone starts drifting toward dinner after a long beach day. Staff members are also consistently warm in a very Caribbean way friendly, approachable, easygoing.
And location-wise, it’s surprisingly convenient.
You’re tucked away on your own little peninsula, so the resort feels calm and removed once you’re inside but Philipsburg is only about five minutes away by car if you want shopping, restaurants, casinos, or simply a change of scenery for the afternoon.
For families, active couples, or travelers who care more about beach quality and atmosphere than ultra-luxury aesthetics, Divi is easily one of the safest all-inclusive choices on the island.
★★★★★"10/10 Excellent"
This was the trip of trips for us, and it wouldn’t have been nearly as enjoyable and relaxing without the incredible, sweet, accommodating staff. A+ on every level

Best for energy & nightlife: Sonesta Maho Beach All Inclusive Resort Casino & Spa
⭐ 8/10 - 2,900+ verified reviews on Expedia
The most accessible price point of the three. All-inclusive rates typically start from $200–$300/night low season, $400–$500/night high season.
Children ages 6–12 add $45/day.
This one is for a completely different kind of traveler — and I mean that as a compliment.
Sonesta Maho doesn’t do quiet. It doesn’t do slow mornings by a peaceful pool. From the moment you arrive there’s music, movement, people — that constant low hum of a place where something is always happening somewhere. If that sounds exhausting, this isn’t your resort. If that sounds like exactly what you want from a holiday, keep reading.
You’re right on Maho Beach — one of the most famous beaches in the world, where planes from Princess Juliana Airport pass so low overhead you feel the jet wash on your skin. I’ve lived on this island for years and it still makes me stop and look. It’s absurd. It’s spectacular. And it genuinely never gets old.
Beyond the beach: multiple pools, bars, restaurants, a casino, nightlife — all without leaving the property. For a group trip, a family with teenagers, or anyone who wants their holiday to feel full and loud and social rather than quiet and restorative — this is the obvious choice.
The loudest option on this list. Also the most fun, if that’s what you’re after.
★★★★★"10/10 Excellent"
great location , good food , great for families.

So, Which one is right for you?
No ranking. No resort that beats the others across the board. Each one is the right choice — for a specific kind of trip.
If you want calm, intimacy, and an ocean view with no children and no noise — Sonesta Ocean Point is the answer. Don’t overthink it.
If you want a beautiful beach, easy days, and a resort that never feels overwhelming — Divi Little Bay delivers that better than anywhere else on the island.
And if you want energy, people, planes flying ten metres over your head, and something happening at every hour — Sonesta Maho is exactly what you’re looking for.
Three resorts. Three completely different trips. The right one is whichever one just made you nod.
Is There All Inclusive resorts in St Martin French side?
No — and it’s worth knowing this before you start searching.
The French side was built around a completely different philosophy. Boutique hotels, open-air restaurants, beach clubs where lunch stretches into the afternoon and nobody rushes you. The all inclusive model never really took hold here, and the island is better for it.
There was one exception — Secrets St Martin Resort, tucked into Anse Marcel, one of the most secluded and beautiful bays on the island. It closed, and as of 2026 there’s no confirmed reopening date. I’ll update this page the moment that changes.
So if all inclusive is what you’re after, you’re looking at the Dutch side. Maho, Little Bay, Simpson Bay — that’s where the resorts are, and that’s where this guide focuses.
If you’re set on the French side, the honest alternative is a villa or a small boutique hotel, and dinner in Grand Case every night. I’ve seen that plan make people very happy.

Frequently asked questions
All-inclusive resorts in St Maarten
Does St. Maarten have all-inclusive resorts?
Yes — but only a handful. St Maarten has three true all-inclusive resorts, all located on the Dutch side around Maho and Little Bay. The island is not a mass-market all-inclusive destination — and that's exactly what makes it special.
Are there all-inclusive resorts in St Maarten?
Yes — three of them, all on the Dutch side. Sonesta Ocean Point, Divi Little Bay Beach Resort, and Sonesta Maho Beach Resort. Each one is genuinely good — for a different kind of traveler.
What are the best all-inclusive resorts in St Maarten?
The three worth considering are Sonesta Ocean Point (adults only, calm and refined), Divi Little Bay Beach Resort (relaxed, great beach, families and couples), and Sonesta Maho Beach Resort (lively, planes overhead, casino, nightlife). Each one is genuinely good — for a different kind of traveler.
How much does an all-inclusive resort cost in St Maarten?
Rates vary significantly by season. In high season (December–April), expect to pay $400–$700 per night at Sonesta Ocean Point, $300–$500 at Divi Little Bay, and $250–$450 at Sonesta Maho. Shoulder season (May, November) can drop those numbers by 20–30%. Booking 3–4 months in advance during peak season makes a real difference — both on price and room availability.
What is included in all-inclusive resorts in St Maarten?
At all three resorts, the standard all-inclusive package covers accommodation, meals at the main restaurants, unlimited drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and access to pools and non-motorized water sports. Sonesta Maho includes access to the casino and multiple bars. Specific inclusions vary by room category and booking type — always confirm what's covered when you book, especially for premium restaurants and excursions.
Is St Maarten better than Cancun for an all-inclusive vacation?
Depends entirely on what you want. Cancun has dozens of mega-resorts, white sand at scale, and a well-oiled all-inclusive machine. St Maarten has three smaller resorts, a genuinely mixed island culture, world-class restaurants in Grand Case, and a French side that feels nothing like the Caribbean you've seen before. If you want volume and predictability, Cancun wins. If you want character and the option to actually explore, St Maarten is in a different category.
Is St Maarten good for a honeymoon all-inclusive?
Yes — and Sonesta Ocean Point is one of the better honeymoon choices in the entire Caribbean. Adults only, oceanfront suites, quiet pools, no animation team. The island itself adds to it: dinner in Grand Case, a catamaran to Tintamarre, a day on the French side. It's the kind of trip couples talk about for years. Just book early — the best suites go fast in high season.
What is the best month to go to St. Maarten?
The sweet spot is mid-January through April — dry season, trade winds, beaches at their best. December works too but prices spike around the holidays. If budget matters, May and November offer good value with fewer crowds, though September and October carry some hurricane risk.
Is an all-inclusive resort worth it in St Maarten?
Yes — if you want a stress-free stay where everything is taken care of. But St Maarten has a lot to offer outside the resorts too. Grand Case, Orient Bay, the French side — most travelers end up exploring at least once. The smartest move is a few nights all-inclusive, then a villa or small hotel on the French side for the rest.
Are there all-inclusive resorts on the French side of St Martin?
No — as of 2026, there are no operating all-inclusive resorts on the French side. Secrets St Martin Resort in Anse Marcel was the only exception, but it closed and has no confirmed reopening date. The French side is built around boutique hotels, villas, and world-class restaurants — a completely different experience.
What is the best adults-only all-inclusive in St Maarten?
Sonesta Ocean Point — without hesitation. It's the only true adults-only all-inclusive on the island. Oceanfront suites, quiet pools, no entertainment team with a microphone. Perfect for couples, honeymoons, and anyone who wants genuine rest.
Are there family-friendly all-inclusive resorts in St Maarten?
Yes — both Divi Little Bay and Sonesta Maho Beach Resort welcome families. Sonesta Maho has a kids club, aqua park, and teen zone. Divi Little Bay is calmer with a great swimming beach — better for younger kids or families who prefer a quieter pace.
